Life is full of twists and turns, and while uncertainty can often feel like you're taking a leap of faith into the unknown, through every experience we learn something valuable that we take with us into our next career. The lessons may not always be apparent right away, some even take years before we begin to understand their significance - case and point, never in a million years would I have expected to cross paths again with some of the people I worked closely with from my former career as a freelance makeup artist. And yet, here we are 5 years later: Joe stands next to me today as a photographer turned producer/cinematographer (a phenomenal one by the way, if a career in film sparks your interest at all be sure to head over to check out his IG tagged in the photo!). Just when you feel like you've exhausted all of your options under the sun, allow yourself the permission to be surprised by the paths you will discover in this life. Our roles do not define us, but rather provide us with opportunities to connect with others in an intentional way. So if that voice inside of you is asking, "can I do this?" I invite you to respond to it by saying, "yes, I can!" 🙋🏻♀️ This is your chance. Be courageous. And above all, be you.
