WHAT I EAT IN A DAY🤩 even though it does change all the time, this is what I have been having everyday recently! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🍳Breakfast : 2 eggs, usually not hungry when I wake up so this is my go-to⁣⁣ 🥭 Snack : protein bar and a nocco (caffine) ⁣⁣ 🍗 Lunch : chicken salad with feta cheese, mais corn, cucumber, tomatos, red bell pepper and onion⁣⁣ ☕️ Iced latte, 2 shots espresso, ice, almond milk and 4-5 flavor drops!⁣⁣ 🍓 Snack : fruit, usually have strawberries, blueberries, mango or honey dew! ⁣⁣ 🌯 Burrito with beef, mais corn, salsa, onion and cucumber, usually put jalapenjo and bell pepper too but ran out! I have 2-3 ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Ill probobly have a few dates as a snack tonight but this was my full day of eating☺️ hope you like it! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Ps. Happy hump day fam 💪🏼 If you’re looking to tone and lose weight, doing compound exercises targeting total body is really the way to go for a couple reasons: -recruits/stimulates more muscle fibers -more blood flow & higher heart rate=more calories burned -improvement of how muscles work together to produce and control force -can lift heavier loads and build strength -saves time during a workout  It’s all about training SMARTER, not harder 🧠 -  as you gain more muscular awareness and are in tune to how your body moves, compound exercises will become easier and you’ll be able to torch calories more efficiently than simply killing yourself doing cardio or focusing on isolation exercises 👏🏻 if there are any advanced exercises or compound movements you guys want to learn, comment below and I’ll post a video breaking down the steps for y’all🤗

DOES LIFTING MAKE WOMEN BULKY? by @inkd_n_fit   ⠀ This drives me nuts every time I hear it… ⠀ Ready for it? ⠀ This misconception that lifting weights, especially heavy weights, will make women 'put on huge muscles' in the same way that a man would. ⠀ This is completely untrue. ⠀ First of all, from a physiological and biological perspective. Women do not have the same testosterone levels that men have, making it extremely difficult (if not impossible) to gain muscle like a man. ⠀ Here an an analogy for you to consider ⠀ A woman saying she doesn't want to lift heavy weights because she is afraid of getting bulky… ⠀ …Is like someone saying they don't want to drive to the grocery store because they're scared they'll become a Nascar driver…  Do you see where this is going yet? ⠀ I've also had women point out female bodybuilders and say "I don't want to end up with her muscles” as if that’s something that could happen by accident 😕 ⠀ Those bodybuilders have all variables of their life aligning with their goal of building & maximizing as much muscle tissue as they possibly can (some with the use of drugs as well). ⠀ While you ladies won't turn into the Hulk from lifting weights…you will build ‘some’ muscle, burn more calories, and be fitter than if you don't! ⠀ Don't live on the treadmill or stair master to be fit or healthy, unless that's your thing. Include weight training both light and heavy to maximize your fitness and strength levels. It also means me and my mental health. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I do what makes me happy. Luckily, I love having a structured life. So tracking my food, planning workouts, and planning out my day suits me just fine. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What I focus on now is actually doing what makes me happy. Not eating what I think will give me the best results. I eat what fits me well and my plan. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I don’t lift in a way that’s entirely focused on one area. I lift what feels good for my body. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Health is a very big thing in my life. Being healthy with my nutrition, fitness and mental health is my new focus. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So, I think I’m proud of myself and my progress. It’s getting pretty dang serious💪🏼

happy tuesday, fit friends💖 today i wanted to talk about something that hits everyone a little differently; weighing yourself 😳 . tracking weight is the average measure of progress. people weigh themselves day in and day out to track every little bit of daily progress. this can lead to a lot of frustration if we don’t see that number shift in the direction we want it to. we’ve all been there. you might look in the mirror and think “i think i made progress this week” step on the scale and that number hasn’t budged 😾 . there are many ways that i personally track; i measure about once or twice a month, i take weekly progress pics, i asses how i feel in my clothes, and i weigh myself. many people have painted weighing yourself as like this super negative thing when in fact it’s just a number that you don’t have to define yourself by! if you think that you are tying too much of your identity to the scale try taking a progress picture instead and tucking your scale away for a time when you feel more confident. by that time when you feel ready to weigh yourself again you’ll have loads of progress pictures to look back on if the numbers don’t reflect exactly what you think they’ll reflect 😝 . reaching your goals doesn’t have to be emotionally draining or miserable! it really is what you make of it and when you make choices that make you feel good you WILL enjoy the journey more than the destination 🥰

💥Crushing core!💥 (with a sprinkle of upper body!) Here are just a few core exercises I completed the other day at the gym. You can definitely do these at home, no equipment necessary!! If you’ve never used the BOSU ball or unfamiliar with using it, I show an alternative to the second exercise at the end. Form is ALWAYS key and most important in anything you are doing at the gym, especially with weights or different types of equipment. . “How do I always stay motivated” . . 🤔That’s the question I get asked a lot .... and the answer is I’m NOT always motivated.... . . I have days when I feel a workout is the last thing I want to do....😩 . I have times when healthy food choices go out the window...🍩 . I’m no fitness model nor do I compete, I just have a passion for health and fitness, 🏋️‍♀️ But like everybody else at times, i don’t feel like giving it my all. . And that is fine! 😊 . .  I will always have a workout session planned, I never head to the gym with nothing planned.... bad idea!  I might not give it a 💯but I’ll finish the work out.. . . I don’t have a workout that I just do over and over again, I change it regularly... rep ranges and tempo’s etc.  I change up the times I go to the gym too. . . . I don’t let myself get to the point where I’m starving hungry either 😀 . . .  All these little things help ME keep on track. 😊 . . Consistency is the key!! Most classic tried-and-true exercises are suitable for most people, just choose a weight that challenges you, and a moderate rep count to challenge you too! . 🍗Protein shakes?? ...protein shakes are not required to be fit, or even to build muscle! They can help, for sure, especially if you’re on the go a lot or if you have a hard time getting enough protein from your daily meals. . 😴How many rest days should I have? ...this question is super relative— it depends completely on the person! But, with trial and error, you can find what works for you. Different kind of #transformationtuesday   ————————————————————————— The stage transformation, tanning and makeup. ————————————————————————— So pre tan you’re totally naked and completely free of any products ( including deodorant! ) then typically you have a pre tan (the night before). You must sleep in loose clothing and not apply any products.  Then you have your final coat on show day and your makeup applied as well as backstage glossing. This is what gives you the shiny look. But trust me the lights on stage are so bright that this is essential as is the colour of the tan. —————————————————— On stage whilst obviously your physique is number one, you certainly don’t want all your hard work to be spoiled by a dodgy tan or makeup.—————————————————— My advice for any female competitor would be to get the base tan on the face but not the secondary coat. You want your makeup to look right. —————————————————— I learnt all about show tan care and pre tan routine from @kompakwomen   and @pca_tanning_and_mua   also offered lots of advice. They also provided the tan and made me feel super comfortable when stood fully naked 😂💕 ——————————————————
