But struggle to come to terms with how they are not achieving this. Sometimes the person is low body fat and lost weight and still don’t see any definition. Here’s how to get them: -  Do Your Basics👇 There’s no use having abs if your just skinny with no muscle at all. Progress your training with regards to all the main movements in the gym and get your physique to a point where abs will look good and strong on your body🔑 -  Focus on Progressing Ab Exercises👇 Just like any other muscle in the body, we should be looking to progress our ab training as well. This will lead to them growing and looking thicker and blockier and when you build up thick abdominals even at a higher body fat they can still show through. Pick exercises where you can progress by adding weight, rope cable crunch and hanging leg raises are my favourites 🔑 -  Do the Hard Stuff👇 Squats, bench, deadlifts, OHP. Doing the basic compound exercises where your having to stay tight throughout and your core is being activated a lot will lead to you strengthening your Mid section massively🔑 -  Body Fat %👇 Ok you may have built up strong abs but can’t see them, I would suggest getting into a calorie deficit and losing the fat that’s lying on top of them. PAUSED/DEADSTOP LUNGES 🔥 - This is my favourite variation of the Lunge and if used correctly is a fantastic exercise to implement on your leg days. I like to make this my last movement, using it as a finisher to burn the legs out. - TIPS: - 1⃣. As you step into the lunge you want to push out your leading knee to the side, keeping your chest up proud; this will help you maintain stability. - 2⃣. When holding weights you want to keep them in line with your hips and drive them down to the floor. - 3⃣. Control the negative and don't let the knee clatter off the floor. Let it rest for a few seconds then drive up. - 4️⃣. As you go to drive through the lunge you want to push through your leading heel and not let it lift up. You then drive hard through your back foot bringing your feet together. - 5️⃣. Finally as your feet come together really emphasise squeezing your glutes before going into the next lunge. - . . . .  1-2-1 & online coaching spaces available. 👩🏻‍🍳 Easy weekday dinner for ya: Cod and butter bean skillet 🍴 Ingredients: • 2 cod fillets (or haddock) • 1 small can butter beans • 1 onion, finely chopped • 1/2 punnet cherry/plum tomatoes • 400g passata • 1 tsp smoked paprika • 1 tsp parsley  Recipe: 1️⃣ Sauté the onion until soft 2️⃣ Add the butterbeans, smoked paprika and passata and simmer for 5 mins 3️⃣ Add the chopped up cod fillets and parsley and simmer for a further 15 mins with a cover on the pan 4️⃣ Add tomatoes, more parsley and seasoning 5️⃣ Simmer for 5 mins more and serve with rice (or alone!) Have an amazing week everyone!! Let’s smash this last little stretch before holiday season properly hits 😅🤶🏼

Doing so is overwhelming and you’re more likely to want to give up all together because it feels so hard. After an initial assessment it was clear we had to address his bad posture and diet as well as work around previous injuries. 1st week of the 6 week block and what a week it has been.  Every single one of these guys should be proud of there efforts.  One person came in this morning and jumped on the scales, she lost 1kg in 5 days without doing a crazy diet, in 6 weeks time she would have lost 6kg if she continues in the same form. 6kg is 13.2 lbs.
